Dogshit boxing forum

Post by dondada »

All is well at the new Eastside British forum!

On a thread arguing the toss over whether Froch-Dodson will happen, most of them seemed to be in the dark, so I posted:

"Go and have a look at BritishBoxing.net"

The sentence was deleted literally within five minutes.

Whoever the moderator is who did that is very petty. They are obviously keeping up vendettas of their own making.

And please, mods on here, leave this up. People who post in both places need to know how sad they are.

The people at Doghouse should also know...whoever the moderator is over there with his cronies will end up having the forum closed, just like they did with Eastside.

Did you speak to Froch yourself for that interview Ian?

No mate, the quotes from a press release. It seems as though one of the main former posters on Eastside, who formerly thought he had links with Hennessy, now no longer does.

Perhaps they didn't get the press release and were slightly aggrieved.

Whatever, I just can't believe the petty jealousies that go on over the net and between boxing sites.

By the way, Ian, I had to reduce the link to your excellent Froch-Dodson story as it stretched the page too much.
Obviously, I still kept the source in there. :TU:

Ian,

With the greatest of respect and in the interest of fairness from someone with no allegiance to either party the petty vendettas are very clearly a two way thing.

I've posted links to Doghouse boxing stories on here and they lasted a similar amount of time.

So, when in a house made of glass, careful how big your rocks are.

The petty vendettas may be a two way thing. But I'm annoyingly caught in the crossfire. As for your accusations of hypocrisy, I'd love to hear your evidence mate.

Yeah, I don't know how to do that clever thing where you rename the link.

Ok my final post on this topic.

Ian,

Maybe accusing you of dropping links implicitly was unfair, as you dont control things on the boxrec.com forum, but the forum on which you chose to announce your criticism (here) of Doghouse certainly has done similar

So I made you guilty by association.

I think its fair to say, as neutral observers, we both get caught in the cross-fire.

And the removal of your reference is as petty as any over-zealous 'editing' that has occurred here.

I dont disagree with you. I just think its important we have context before everyone jumped in slagging them off.

They aren't the only purpotrators (sp) of such activity.

FYI I have no problem with ANY site and respect the work of them all.

Over and out.

Fair enough. Agreed.

I only use two forums - this and there. I'll probably try and restrict myself to this one now.

An ex girlfriend once told me I had 'lovely balls.' It's hard to know what to say to that really, except thanks, also not something you can flaunt easily without being arrested. I mean a girl can wear a low cut top if she has nice knockers, but you canne walk around with your snappledangers hanging out, certainly not in winter, as Morcambe and wise used to say

'It's lovely out isn't it?'
'Yes it is, but someone's coming now, so put it away.'

I suppose I could have worn incredibly tight leggings which emphasised by testicular perfection, however though this would have highlighted their greatness it would undoubtedly have attracted unwanted attention from lacivious gay men in the vicinity and officers of the law.

I'm sure nobody wanted to know any of this, but sometimes you've just got to let it out.

Fear not gentle Dave, the chances of me getting the crown jewels out in the chilly climes of Donny are negligable at best.

If Donny is referrring to Doncaster, then it is near on impossible to keep your Crown Jewels in, as the ladies are extremely friendly

Funny story my Donny mate told me once.

A bunch of Donny lads had read that Bolton had the highest aids and STD rate in the north (some years back), so some bright spark, figuring there must be 'fanny on tap' hired a minibus and started ferrying expectant docastrians up to Bolton to enjoy the spoils.
