Heck there are so many different wieghts to learn! Thank you so much for your help. You guys aren't so bad :-) Might just beat my partner at this article. Come on!
That link is really useful, thanks J-C. much apprciated.
It was my mate who found this site on the internet for me, however it took him ages to find it as he knows less about boxing than would be expected of a male.

I can recommend the cyberboxingzone, which has some great historical knowledge there, you could also try speaking to tracy callis, though you had better narrow your questions down. Asking for a potted 'all about boxing' answer is not going to get you far.

You could also do worse than going to the international boxing hall of fame website, which will give you a good idea of famous names of the past, though not a lot to back it up.

I depends really on what you are supposed to learn, whether it's the actual rules, weight divs and current fighters or if you are also expected to know the history of boxing as well (which is a pretty big subject). Let us know what else you need to know and good luck :TU: I'm a student myself so I know how much of a pain in the ass resurch can be.

Thanks to everyone you've been very useful and made my job a lot easier!
If anyone knows any useful links for a summary of the history of boxing that would be really useful, as there is so much to trawl through, became quite disheartened at one point! Also any boxing lingo translations would be extremely useful....!
Thanks

Here's a link to an article giving a brief history of how boxing started,

http://coxscorner.tripod.com/briefhistory.html

For anything specific about boxing history, different champiuons etc this is probobly the best site on the net.

Your mate's got off a bit light as far as learning the history of jazzersize. :)
