Possibly a question mainly for the North East lads but can anyone remember what happened to NE heavyweight Manny Burgo.Saw him fight twice in the late 80's (i think ),anyone know what he's doing now.Me and a mate were just talking about him the other day...

Having a hunt round i found out that Manny's nephew Lawrence Osueke who is a talented amateur light heavy .
Lawrence is an ABA finalist this year , losing 8-3 to Obed Mbwakongo. After this showing Lawrence got his first England vest in a tri-nations contest.

you can certainly hear Manny at the shows!!! saw him in sheffield at the ABAs and we were at the same hotel, , nice guy ,he used to come down and spar with Lennox in 1989!!
