Boxers who never lost or drew???
Hi,
Have there ever been any non-active boxers other than Marciano, Canalito, and Henry Pearce who won every one of their professional fights (no draws). (Marciano lost an amateur fight to Coley Wallace. Canalito, I think, either never fought as an amateur or never lost as an amateur. Please correct me if I'm wrong.)
I'd be grateful for your answsering with an email to: [email protected]
Many thanks.
Steve

Terry Marsh

Michael Loewe
Mayweather (but I guess he's no longer retired)
Pichit Sitbangprachan
(Mali: I thought Terry Marsh had a draw on his record.)
Since you mentioned Henry Pearce, I guess bare knucklers count. So, I'd add:
William "Nobby" Clark
Jim Dunne
Jacob and Tom Hyer
Tom Lyons
Young Dutch Sam

Hi,
Just came across this on WikiAnswers (

http://wiki.answers.comQ/Who_was_the_on ... undefeated
Guess it answers the question. It includes boxers with ties, which I didn't want to include, but has many who won all their fights.

Who was the only boxer ever to retire undefeated?

Re: Boxers who never lost or drew???
I believe that Lee Canalito (Protege of Sly Stalone; 21-0 with 19 KO's) also won all his amateur bouts. I don't know of any others who did.

Re: Boxers who never lost or drew???
No jibe intended as Marsh still went through his whole career undefeated. I was actually at the fight in posh Bloomsbury in London in 1982 and Marsh, the "house" fighter, looked a bit fortunate to get the draw in only his second eight-rounder as a pro. Christie was fairly unknown but found himself some decent management and went on to win the British title, a title he thoroughly deserved. Both Marsh and Christie could fight.mali wrote:I stand corrected
