Chagaev/Klitschko - Round 9 or 10?

What's the official result.. 9th or 10th round?

ESPN, Ring, and FightNews are reporting that the 10th started before Cotton called it off. Can anyone verify?

The bell didn't go to begin the 10th round. Chagaev was still sitting on his stool, his trainer in front of him and the doctor leaning over from the ring apron dabbing at Ruslan's cut. The trainer, with Cotton stood close by his left shoulder, then whispered something in Chagaev's left ear and gave a slight shake of the head to another member of the corner team at which point the ringside doctor motioned with his hands to the referee that that was enough and Cotton thus waved it off.
End of the 9th round.
