She's a condescending broad int she.
Some of what she says has some truth, but when they come to collect her desk in five years because the Guardian has gone on line and is now staffed entirely by Amateur bloggers who communicate only through 140 character articles, she may seek to recall her glee at Setanta's downfall and wonder if she could have shown more restrain or even acted karma.

re bunce: He's under a lot of pressure though, upholding the weight and fate of all boxing coverage in this country on his shoulders like some misogynistic Atlas.

Named after the car she was conceived in.
Re: Bunce v Hyde
She thought she could have a pop at the Setanta. Its easy to kick someone when they are down.
What has she ever acheived? Does she have a following? In fact, who the fcuk is she? Ive never heard of her.
Her comeback email to Buncey showed she is a smug cow and she stooped low enough to insult Buncey personally.
This shows what a poor journalist she is.
Do yourself a favour Marina or Allegro or whatever your name is, stop writing about Boxing. Better still stop writing full stop.
When the new Bunceys Boxing Hour is on, she has got to be in for some special treatment.

The Guardian seem to think something of her as she occupies quite a lot of their printed column space; seems she's moved her vitriol online now! Some of her stuff to be fair is okay and she sometimes tackles the political spectrum. No matter what she writes, it often includes big words, grand sentences and is always having a go at somebody
If you see a photo Hyde then I think you all would do her...

If it was me - I would have ended Buncey's email with the words - "F*ck off you stupid ignorant cow" - its not so I wasn't given that opportunity - or can I?? - how do I get hold of the stupid ****!!!BIGMARK wrote:Here is the Bunce email:i think there has been a bit of history between these two in the past, good come back thoughI noticed your little pop today. Very witty.
Just to let you know that on the boxing front Setanta is a tremendous success. Many classic fights from the last two years have so far been screened, trust me. Cotto v Margarito...ring any bells? Yeah, like it would.
The weekly show, called Steve Bunce's Boxing Hour, is essential for the 100,000 plus boxing nuts who sit and watch. It's a lot more than find your column, sweetheart.
Also, each week over 4,000 boxing emails and texts arrive - our record is 6,000 in one 24 hour period. Boxing fans are a devoted mob and the hundreds that emailed me your little pop will be watching today.
Adios.
Bunce.

Re: Bunce v Hyde
what was her comeback to Bunce's email ?
Re: Bunce v Hyde
You see, she calls boxing fans and Bunce misogynistic, and I think, "condescending cow."
Then I read, "she's clearly not getting it" and "she needs spit roasting."
Oh dear.
Meantime, I don't really like her writing.
It seems to me that it's trying very hard to achieve a certain tone, but doesn't quite make it.
