Jeff's a good lad. Hope he's right.

Just had a chat with 'a source close to John Murray' who tells me he's in the gym and ready - if the money was right.

IF Kotelnik pulls out, Khan should fight Murray, of course. I'm sure Sky would seethe at having to pull another PPV and the Murray fight is an easy sell - and would get a good gate too.

Great replacement, but sorry would have been ALOT more interested in Khan vs Kotelnik. Amazing when Khan vs Kotelnik was announced it was met be a fair amount of criticism on here. Kotelnik is better than Murray IMO, a significantly better boxer.

you think they'll pull the ppv, it'll go on as an "interim" Title fight and youll still be paying £15.

Hope this is true it will be a great fight I see Murray overwhelming him and KO'ing him in the mid-rounds cant believe FW has accepted Murray seems to much of a risk imo

I will be really shocked if Khan vs Murray will be for an interim title. Warren couldn't deliver Barrera vs Khan as an interim title fight and that involved the #1 guy in the devision. Kotelnik has just beaten his mandatory - so I cannot see the WBA wanting to strip him.

Murray is gagging for the fight and has remained in training just in case he gets the call. Kotelnik is a better fighter than Murray but Murray has a point to prove and will fight the fight of his life. I think Kotelnik could just get the decision but I wouldnt bet on it, whereas Murray I know will spark Khan, Prescott style, but he will take longer to do it. I really do hope John Murray gets his chance, he wont dissapoint, like Khan he has a lot to lose. Sod titles this is all about King of the North West and John Murray believes he is the true King. Good luck to him, I like John.

What weight would this be at? Maybe LWelter would be preferable for Murray.

Considering an interim belt is already been signed (isn't it taking place next week) - I really think it would be hard. I fully expect a WBA International title to magically appear though.

Hope this happens .. though is it really giving Murray much time to prepare?

Murray, as usual was marked up around the eyes after his last fight .. to go straight into sparring with no recovery time seems hasty considering you`d expect him to eat the jabs for a few rnds.

I think either weight will suit Murray, Khan will have never been in with somebody as strong as Murray .. Hayes will make sure of that.

khan stops murray before the halfway point, winning every round.

people on this forum, especially, still dont like him,and say the NEXT guy will be too tough and will knock him out with the first punch.

there,i just told you what will happen,no need to even bother watching the fight,or reading the forum afterwards.

ahhh you masochist brits,dont ever change,ok? :P

Can someone confirm the extent to which this is simply a wild rumour?

Personally, I couldn't care less WHAT they are fighting for- A "world" title, and intrim title, and "international" title- sod the belt, it's the quality of fight that matters.

You're joking me right? claiming he now has a defense after watching him fight Fagan & Barrera is a truly amazing statement :o
