Looking for info on Indiana welterweight James Warren

Hi, Would like to know if anyone has ever heard of a boxer named James Warren? He held the welterweight title a couple of years in Indiana. Probably sometime between 1920 and 1960. light skinned black man or possibly Italian?

Any help would be appreciated.
