He wasn't "gifted the decision" - The fight was in England, it was not a legit International title fight, merely an international bout. It should have been fought under English rules, which would have made him the winner.

It's surprising how few people mentioned that.

Pacquiao Morales and Barrera have all contested International titles even in their peak.

Interim belts are a joke, there should be a national belt, continental belt, commonwealth belt (or equivalent), and an absolute maximum of 3 world title belts per weight.

I would say just one world title belt but then you get one world champ who just gets hand picked opponents due to the commercial side of boxing.
