This could go on the same July 25 bill as Eddie Hyland v Oisin Fagan. Who do you guys think will win?
Steve Wellings talks to Eddie, Patrick, dad Paddy Snr and Fagan.

Nice one Steve
Good to see your comprehensive coverage of the Irish scene is getting the exposure it deserves following the BBN demise..

Re: Paul Hyland v Sean Hughes?
Sean Hughes was demolished by Dunne a few years ago, Paul reminds me of Dunne in a lot of ways, they have the same style, are very good technically but Paul just lacks a little power. I still see him stopping Hughes mid fight though.

Thanks Terry and Danny. I felt like I was ploughing a lonely furrow at times, but we shall crusade on for the love of Irish boxing
Re: Paul Hyland v Sean Hughes?
I notice that you've been doing your own bit of Irish boxing reporting Terry

I only heard about this through work discussion but my colleagues were under the impression that Wayne had been snubbed because of that business in 1990 when he carried the tri-colour. Seems there is a more logical reason according the above article.

seen that as well on BBC NI website. Of course it was a snub and of course it was because Waynes escapades under the tricolor!steve689 wrote:I notice that you've been doing your own bit of Irish boxing reporting Terry![]()

Then they try and cover up their small mindedness with bs about it being for "retired boxers"?

Fagan beats Eddie on points and Paulie stops Hughes early.
Re: Paul Hyland v Sean Hughes?
Cheers!
Hopefully they can make Michael Sweeney V Ian Tims on the undercard as is being rumoured.
As for McCullough...I couldn't possibly speculate as to the reasons behind the mural snub, but I think it's pretty obvious as you say
