As a more general question- what is next for Hayemaker Promotions?

TV deals can't be easy to come by, and unless that can find a way of making non-televised small hall shows profitable, they could be in a real mess.

Their website still hasn't taken down the advert for the July 4th show, and contains no up to date news.

I like Haye, but i think the smack-talk has kind of got long in the tooth now.

He had a date and never showed for whatever reason.

Now he needs to cool his spurs a bit and get down to some serious negotiating.

If anything he needs a fight, any fight, to just keep his skills sharp.

I'd put money on him fighting rahman next!

He will have a while to wait for a Klitschko so I think maybe Skelton or Williams as a keep active fight then Arrerola or maybe even Banks just to keep active and get used to fighting big lads and to keep his name in the spotlight

British heavyweight David Haye will eventually fight Klitschko, only it won’t be the IBF and WBO champ Wladimir, but his elder brother, WBC belt holder Vitaly, German Bild daily reports.

According to the newspaper, the HBO channel has scheduled the broadcast of the bout between the boxers on September 12.

The possible venues for the match are three football arenas in the German cities of Gelsenkirchen, Frankfurt am Main and Düsseldorf. The capacity of the stadiums varies from 53 to 60,000.

David Haye, who declared a PR war on the Klitschko family, was to face Wladimir Klitschko, on June 20. But the much anticipated fight didn’t take place due to the British boxer’s injury.

Recently, a court decision has freed Vitaly Klitschko from his obligation to defend his WBC title against Russian Oleg Maskaev, which means he has the full right to choose his next opponent.

Earlier, Vitaly said he’s interested in a fight with ‘Russian Giant’ Nikolay Valuev, who holds the WBA belt.

Really hope this one happens! Haye is what the HW division needs. If he were to beat Vitali, it would be a huge win for Haye & superb for British boxing & the sport in general!

I gave him a punchers chance against Wlad as his chin is a bit suspect but Vitali has a good chin so I dont see how Haye will win it Vitali will stop him mid-late imo
