I'm hoping he just fights!

But i think with his draw and his controversy DQ win, he should look for at least 3-4 more fights before the end of the year to get it back on track.......if of course he wins.

But i would like to see him step it up and fight these guys in order.

Colin Wilson to avenge the draw.
Nathan Briggs after he has another fight, should he get through Briggs then against Leapai.

He'll know then if he's any good.

Solo was found out after the Couser fight................the top guys stop Couser inside 2/3 rounds after hurting Cliff early Solo failed to put him away and was hurt himself in the 5th!! Theres no excuse for not being 100% that night as Cliff threw about 10 punches a round if that........

Since then hes looked VERY average..........Im not sure if its that his heart aint in it or if hes just reached his fdull potential as hes been very well looked after (easy opponents) maybe hes gone a little stagnent with not having tougher fights early in his career

I think Haomono has the talent, I don't think he has the killer instinct needed to make it much further.

Who knows what he has in mind? He could always chuck it in now and boast forever that he had 17 fights and nobody beat him.

That much would be true.

Yeah, but hopefully he would be smart enough to know that it wouldn't do him any good to think that way.

It's the what if's that will haunt you, and Solo hasn't even won the Australian title.

I think if he can establish the killer instinct, pre Couser, he's then got a chance of a career.

haumono has the talent, skill, power & what it takes to get their just needs to be active taking on bigger fights and have abit of faith.
haumono should challenge himself against the top 5 aussie fighters if successful then move on to tua or cameron then who knows maybe a world title.

Tua? Cameron? jesus they will kill Solo at the moment!! He needs to prove himself against Wilson, Mirovic, Leapai, De Mori, Cronje, Briggs etc before stepping up to them!

If he wants to keep fighting he should forget the "brotherhood" rubbish and fight Hopoate. Boxers always finish up fighting their friends sooner or later.

Hopoate holds the Australian title. That should be Haumono's starting point if he wants to move up.

Tua fought his good friend Michael Moorer KO'd him 30sec into the 1st round. He later said they met up later that night rewatched the fight and moved on! Same could be done between Hoppa and Sol

Also Hoppa's former team mate and ex-kiwi Leamy Taito will turn pro shortly.........a fight between him and Ben edwards would be HUGE

brute,

when he has opposition like leapai, de mori, wilson, mirovic, briggs, cronje, etc. it makes little sense to fight one of his great mates. yeah the australian title will kickstart his career, lol. now, just admit there are more than enough fights for him to test himself, go on, it's easy.

I like to see Haumono vs Sio again.
Sio ruined it for himself and why Haumono was backing away slowly in the one direction towards Sio's overhand right killed it for Haumono.
Haumono will definately take into account their last fight, so if they fight again I'm sure Haumono will come out firing.
It'll be good to watch, maybe straight after the Wilson fight.
