2009 TITLE National Championships

Post by bwadd21 »

This was my first year to attend the Title Tournament, I was just wondering if anyone else was there, and what they though about it?

All in all I felt it was OK.

If a knockdown is the result of a legal, effective blow it would only score as one punch. There is the possibility that her opponent had scored more overall punches than your daughter at the end of the bout.

oh i know how the scoring sytem works, and i am not trying to be bias because it is my daughter, but i felt ( and so did most other coaches there) that she clearly won the bout. But we are just greatful for the experience. I don't mean to sound like im complaining, cause both girls fought their hearts out and I give her opponent credit. I did have another daughter that brought home a belt in the 15-16 yo 165lb weight class

Al coaches complain! Glad you are positive about the experience - that's what counts. And congrats on your other daughter's belt.
