haha you have to love J.
Comes on to the board and posts in every Hatton thread defending Hatton all the time. Whenever anyone criticizes Hatton, J takes them on and insults them. When he gets insulted back he brings out the old "i live in barbados" line, trying to tell us all how much better he is.
Don't worry Dioufy, I dealt with this mug for years, hes as thick as a plank mate.

Too much is put on the "role model" aspect, at the end of the day sportsmen/women are doing a job and quite frankly how they live their lives outside of the sport is none of our business.
well quite, except with footballers and boxers, where 90% of the population know whats best for them and think its abhorrent that they should go out and do exactly the same things they probably do every weekend.
Rugby Union players however are lauded for being drunken oafs
thats the class system, that is
PRO RUGBY PLAYERS? Utter nonsense its no different to a boxers life in its own way, when they are playing or training they live the life or they dont get picked simple as that.
In fact rugby is more stringent than boxing truth be known.
Ask Richard Cockerill (sacked by woodward), ask Matt Stevens (banned for two years world wide cant even pick a ball up in training not just a few months in a certain state), Ask Michael Lipman, Alex Crockett, Andrew higgins. Possibly all banned for two years as well pending. Ask Danny cipriani who got dropped not for drinking but for being out late 2 days prior to a game. Ask lote tuquiri recently booted out of the aussie squad for ill discipline and toldnot to come back, cancelled contract end of.
You are talking utter shite Banjo/ KG sorry. Got eff all to do with class system thats a real "chip on the shoulder" bullshit thing to say.
You think no working class lads play rugby then? Stupid comment by someone id expect to be a football fan. (god help us that is one sport that really makes my effing toes curl, wanna talk about lack of sporting professionalism i suggest you look there first).
You think Martin Johnson / Or Woodward would have put up with the guys in the world cup winning team getting pissed at innapproriate times you are fuckin mental .
There are times to do it and times not to, same in most sports you lot just make out that boxing is different Ive got news for you, it isnt.
Not these days and not for about 20 or so years.
ugh
Just after the Lions had lost the series in South Africa, BBC Five Live's Alan Partridge, sorry i mean Gary Richardson was interviewing one of the players on the pitch.
Richardson would not shut the fcuk up about Tim Vickery being an "absolute monster when he's on the beer" and saying things like "imagine the scrapes they get into with 10 pints inside them" referring to the Lions front row
Would he say the same thing to Carl Frotch or Ryan Giggs?
would he fcuk

And it would be absolutely fascinating to hear what Graham has to say now about those same weight issues...Terry D wrote:Good thread mind, makes me want to dig out an int I did with Billy, Ricky, and Kerry about his weight issues prior to the Urango fight. I'll give you a sneak preview of Graham's contribution:
"Haven't those moaning Minnies found something new to whinge about yet, F-ing hellfire!"
Re: Hatton & Cakes
Stand by what I said.
Anyone who chooses to criticise Hatton's lifestyle rather than concentrate on the achievements in the ring is an arsehole.
My point was that when he was smashing KT he was a 'legend' 'man of the people'.
As soon as he loses the milk goes sour - typical British disease.
That is all

i dont know who tim vickery is, do you mean phil? And when does he go on the beer in his own time during the off season? Wow thats awful.......so in effect your argument is based on what a commentator said, brilliant. Sheer genius
Also folk dont pay money to hear stories of when hatton is on the piss, or rod marsh and some other idiot doing their tours or Ian botham or Tuffnell ?
To use your term .........you have an utterly vapid counter argument. I mean utterly vapid.
I expected better.

Re: Hatton & Cakes
I'm Alan Partridge, the series in which he was living in the Travelodge was hilarious. I loved it. It was bizarre, because I could watch each episode a few times and knowing the jokes, still laugh.Khaosai-Galaxy wrote: Just after the Lions had lost the series in South Africa, BBC Five Live's Alan Partridge, sorry i mean Gary Richardson was interviewing one of the players on the pitch.
In fact, I'm sitting here now, typing this, laughing contentedly to myself, much to my girlfriend's concern, remembering the funeral with the Castrol GTX bomber jacket.
"Alan: I just can't think of anything to say.
Wife of the deceased: There's really nothing you can say.
Alan: It must be awful, there's just nothing I can say.
Wife: No, there's really nothing you can... [cut off by Alan]
Alan: No-no, just hang on, give me time, I'll think of something.
[Uncomfortable pause]
Alan: Sooo... Were you close?"
And "Cock Piss Partridge" sprayed clumsily on the side of his Rover Fastback was surely the best insult ever.
I loved that show.
Anyway, I'm going to do and eat some chicken.

you are making the classic mistake that i have any argument to make whatsoever, and that i'm not just posting here to take my mind off the fact i have terminal cancer (of the 'cock 'n balls')
Tim Vickery is the BBC's correspondent on South American football, he was loitering around the pitch at Ellis park on Saturday and was quite rightly interviewed by Gary Richardson, who wanted to know what he was doing there.
Vickery's response of "i'll fcuking show u fcuking Jew cnuts what i'm fcuking doing here, you pig faced cu nt" was edited out of the podcast.
Here's a picture of the fascist journalist, Tim Vickery

Look at him, denying the holocaust, the bastard
Re: Hatton & Cakes
Tim Vickery is still the best South American football expert/journo.
