RENALDO SNIPES ROOTS?

i seem to remember snipes was brought up by foster parents in texas, and later yonkers, ny.

was renaldo snipes a name his foster parents gave him, or did he already have it from his real parents?

renaldo is not an american name and considering facially he did not look like an african-american i was wondering if anyone knows the history of "mr snipes", since we never caught a glimpse of his real parents. what are his roots, im intrigued?

Renaldo was the oldest of 7 children. He grew up in Wichita, KS. in 1976 he relocated to Waukegan, IL. living with Rev. Jim Williams. Williams brought Snipes into boxing and under Williams, Renaldo won the Chicago Golden Gloves, Illinois AAu crown and the CYO Championship in 1977 and 1978 and then later ventured into Yonkers.

cheers 4 the info cybox. tell me, do u know if the 7 kids u mention are his real brothers or his foster brothers?

do we know when OR why his real parents gave him up, and wether his real family is of a different nationality becuase mr snipes doesnt look like an african-american.

According to my records Snipes was born in Houston, Texas.

yes he was born in the US but im intrigued by his roots, where his family originates.

are they columbian or puerto rican or something along those lines? im just speculating. nobody seems to know.
