Um, what?

Taylor won the undisputed title a weight down, arguably beat Pavlik in the rematch. Taylor won, what, eight rounds versus Frotchety, & floored him, hurt him bad & made him look fecking awful at times.

All Pascal has done is beat some overhyped one-dimensional Eastern European chappy who was about four-foot five (& he nearly got chinned doing that) for a paper championship stripped from the real number one in the division. Pascal was never actually in danger of winning against Frotchety once we could see that he couldn't actually dent Carl. Very entertaining fight -- but he won what, four rounds, maximum?

Taylor handled Frotchety much better than Pascal did, 'Barn.

At least for the first eleven rounds!

unbeaten records are a total myth. if joe wasn't in favour, hopkins or reid could well have got the nod.

even abraham, you could argue, only barely beat eastman and miranda the first time. i think aa's a potentially great fighter - and his KO of khoren the guyver looks even better now, with khoren apparently robbed vs sturm last weekend - but he hasn't been excellent in every fight. he'll be much better at super middle, IMO, hopefully as good as he was in the miranda rematch.
Robbed is too harsh a word as it was competitive, but I do think Ghevor won the fight clearly enough.

jean pascal is one of the slickest light heavyweights in the world and beat a good slugger - diaconu - in front of 13,000 rabid fans in a great fight and a superb event. the fight was excellent, fought at a very high level. pascal was brilliant throughout; diaconu worked his way in, overcame inactivity and bad start, to apply some excellent pressure and wobble his man a few times. pascal has a rematch next, year, he has a title, he has a dance partner, he has a good stage to perform on. generally, you;d have to say the boy done good and that he fulfilled the promise shown when he battered kingsley ikeke, a win that ppl tend to ignore. while froch, AA and kessler have their tournament, pascal, diaconu and possibly bute can form a great lucrative canadain round robin, akin to what we had with eubank, benn and watson, in the UK.

pascal - promising fighter on the way up when froch met him

taylor - decorated pro slightly on the slide, deserving of a super middle campaign after complaining of being weight drained at 160.

they were both excellent tests and they both put up an excellent fight. pascal, you may recall, took froch's best shots from round 1 to 12 and wile he may have been worn down, he didn't end up down, out, and in the corner with his head between his knees wondering, "what hit me". as taylor did.

some ppl, bloody muckrakers. make gold look like sheet.

insane? am i insane, another person asks

are you better?, said the doctor. better than what?, i replied

Kesslers fights will be PPV in Denmark, at a price of £56,3 each. I doubt many people will see the tournament here.
