and yes he should have been DQ'd
Re: Should billy dib been disqualified?
I think the NC would have been the right call, i personally didn't care to much for what he did it was a spur of the moment thing when you have adrenaline pumping he can make mistakes like that and the fact that the jap was acting like a dirty clown which pissed me off.
Billy Dib great potential, but his attitude will never allow him to be more then what he is. If golden boy really thought he was that great they would have kept him in the US and got him real training to develop him.

Billy Dib vs Asiku.
Re: Should billy dib been disqualified?
Would they put Dib in with Asiku ??Hounddawg wrote:Billy Dib vs Asiku.
Id say Action Jackson would be to strong for Billy.
Re: Should billy dib been disqualified?
I subscribe to the fist and over the last couple of months Asiku and team successfully won the rights to challenge Dib for the IBO feather strap. Asiku also called Dib scared and didn't want to fight a real fighter.ben k wrote:Would they put Dib in with Asiku ??Hounddawg wrote:Billy Dib vs Asiku.

Then in this months issue Billy was quoted saying Jackson who, is'nt this the same guy who pulls out of big fights(John,Mashaba ect).
So it's kind of building up, I think it will happen.

I don't think a DQ was in order. It looks awful in the slo-mo, but in real time it happened very quickly that I could accept Dib didn't do it with malice. But how the ref didn't spot that Yamaguchi took a full power shot while on his knees with his back to his opponent, I'll never know. Yamaguchi was willing to continue so I don't think he would have called it in and tried to get the DQ or a NC, so give the man the standard five minutes.

Jackson didn't pull out of the John fight - there were $$$ problems so neither of them wanted to fight.Hounddawg wrote:I subscribe to the fist and over the last couple of months Asiku and team successfully won the rights to challenge Dib for the IBO feather strap. Could you please tell us Yamaguchi's dirty tactics because I've watched the fight over and over and the more I watch it the dirtier Billy Dib and the reff get. Please tell me Yamaguchi's fouls so I may see them.Soundkamp wrote:I think the NC would have been the right call, i personally didn't care to much for what he did it was a spur of the moment thing when you have adrenaline pumping he can make mistakes like that and the fact that the jap was acting like a dirty clown which pissed me off.
