Is the draw done? If it is, are there any good matches.
Re: 2009 Desert Showdown Tournament-Indio,Ca.-July 13-18 2009
the draw was done by 8pm tonight.Yes Matthew Vasquez was in the draw(13-14 yr old,90lb open),have to look for the other names,I'll try to get as many brackets tomorrow as possible,I might be a day late posting them if the officials work with me and give me all the brackets and results, supposedly there is 600 entries, but it looks a little less than that
Re: 2009 Desert Showdown Tournament-Indio,Ca.-July 13-18 2009

He's like 0-1, short chubby kid. Should be more like 119 but he probably eats too much fast food.ANA wrote:DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT JESUS PEREZ?

I'll look tomorrow, one of my boxers said Matthew won by DQ on Wednesday(his opponent didn't show up),and today he wasn't scheduled to fight, tomorrow(Friday) is the semis,I'm sure he's fighting then
Re: 2009 Desert Showdown Tournament-Indio,Ca.-July 13-18 2009
That should be a walkover, not a DQ.Matthew won by DQ on Wednesday(his opponent didn't show up),
Re: 2009 Desert Showdown Tournament-Indio,Ca.-July 13-18 2009
Mel your right, but my 13 yr olds opponent never entered the ring,he was no where to be found,in his book they put DQ in it,also when there aS bouts with the similiar situation, the ref would ask the ringside official"walkover or DQ",so I'm just going by what I saw and heardboxmel wrote:That should be a walkover, not a DQ.Matthew won by DQ on Wednesday(his opponent didn't show up),

I guess this site was down last night?I was going to post day 1 and 2 of the tourney, but cause of the shutdown,I wasn't able to.My son boxes in bout 37 in ring 3 for the 165 lb open championship,so I'll be busy most of the day,I'll post all the results Sunday night when I get back to San Francisco
