I'm not asking you to reveal what happened in the sparring sessions, but regardless of how well Kell did, who has he sparred?twenty six wrote:I appreciate fully what you say, but already Kel has made his mark in sparring sessions with what some would call elite fighters in his division.
I'm confident.

Fighting starts at 6.
TV coverage starts at 9 ?
Khan in at 11.
Doesn't leave much room for maneouvre because I think the Olympians will be showcased.
What you've got to understand Whicker, is that Kel has been a poorly kept secret for years.
I haven't felt so confident about a fighter in years.
Are you involved in kell's camp or just a mate of his twenty six, iv been following him since watching him vs gary young on a calzaghe undercard, just got that feeling he was somthing special back then! also spoke to him at meadowhall just after the mc'intyre fight, a well grounded lad!

Just a friend mate.
Been lucky enough to see him work in the formative years at Wincobank, and then when he joined Dave Coldwell.
He's now back at Wincobank and dont see him train but he remains close friends with Ryan and inevitably our paths cross.
I have always been a staunch supporter of all of the lads in whichever gym they happen to preside.
Kel is special.

jackson bonsu is not far off a title shot and was european champ when they sparred
Re: Kell Brook v Michael Lomax added to Khan card
I'm not knocking Kell, he is a quality prospect, but sparring can never really prove anything totally- it's all down to what happens in the ring.
What Kell needs is a tough, testing fight where he really needs to dig in. Hopefully, at least ,Lomax will provide some level of opposition.

Brook/Lomax July 18
Would like to get opinions on how people see this one playing out. Is Brook the real deal or over hyped Euro Level? Does Lomax have a good chin? Does he have the punch resistance to go rds and or distance with Brook? Appreciate any/all comments. I haven't seen either but from what I've heard Brook is on the cusp of world class. Thanks

Talksport are playing ads for this show. They mention Gavin and Saunders, but no mention of Brook. Bizarre.

No answer. I guess the answer is none then.sweetscience wrote:what elite welters has he been sparring with ?

This is what annoys me Kell is a better prospect then khan but khan gets all the hype and kell gets none!

What? What? What? What? You tw@ hahahacelerygolf wrote:Lomax will win this on points and shock all the kell brook arse lickers. If he manages to stop getting cut I can see lomax frustrating brook and will run out of juice in middle rounds. Lomax has got a good chin and won't fold up like an ha'penny comic. Sources say brook isn't a great trainer and fitness may play a part.
