Not taking the piss I just think this will be a dull fight. Hoffman is awful to watch this has a 12 round snoozefest written all over it.

Dont you think Krasniqi v Skelton would be more of a spectacle? I do.

Unless he can manoeuvre Skelton into the #1 spot. Mind you he seems to steer clear of the Euro title these days in favour of the shitty world titles.

Hoffmann is definetely awful to watch but hard to fight. he never got koed, not even by Vitali Klitschko. he has an iron head and a good fitness like any german boxer. you have to outbox him in 12 rounds. Skelton is #4 in the EBU. he must beat beat Wladi Klitschko, Samil Sam or Danny Williams to get a better ranking. A fight vs. Sam would be nice. the winner would be #1 contender. If Luan would win it would be his last EBU-fight. his aim for 2005 is to win a world title. this is not impossible.

nowadays it seems it is harder to get a EBU-title-fight than a WBC- or WBO-title-fight

Blah blah, Rene Monse knocked him down in their first fight. This fight has taken ages to set up, this is Luans mandatory and it has been longer than 6months. Its between Samil Samm and Skelton as to who gets the next mandatory IMO. As was pointed out, Hoffman has lost to the might of Henry Akiwande. Will be intersting to see who is chosen to fight for the vacant title if Luan does vacate it.

Akinwande fights for Nigeria. So it was a non-EBU-fight. it had no influence on his EBU-ranking. he is only the mandatory because both Klitschkos won´t fight for the EBU-title.

you´re right. i always wondered why Hoffmann is that high ranked in Europe. But this has been so since the Klitschko-fight. since then he hardly lost positions.......
