Khan wins UD over Kotelnik 120-108, 118-111, 118-111
Khan boxed a great fight. He was fast on his feet, quick and sharp with his hands, and most importantly, he did an excellent job at protecting his fragile chin, making the technical master Kotelnik look sloppy and awkward at times. A lot of his shots were blocked too, but Kotelnik will do that to everybody. One question I had going into this fight was if he would be able to box 12 hard rounds without getting tired. He was nearly as fresh in the final round as he was the first, and really looked to be in tip top condition. The training with Roach looks to have payed off. He was rarely standing right in front of Kotelnik and always had his hands next to his chin after punching. Kudos to Khan on the win, I thought he looked great.
So whats next? Hatton? Salita/Maidana? Maidana is a big hitter and will be more dangerous than the man who beat him, Kotelnik, so does Warren avoid him or does he have more confidence in Khan's ability to avoid big bombs? Is he more willing to rematch Prescott now that the Colombian has been exposed or did that fight lose its luster?
What did you guys think of Khan tonight and what does the future hold? Is he really a different fighter or was Kotelnik simply tailor made to lose no matter what improvements Khan made?
Kudos to Khan (Poll)

I BET MY BRO , LAST NIGHT THAT IF KAHN HATTON HAPPENS THAT KAHN WILL WIN , IM FEELING SLIGHTLY CONFIDENT NOW . GOOD PERFORMANCES FROM ALL THE OLYMPIANS AND SMALL BUT ANNOYED AT NOT SEEING ENZO OR KELL , WOULD RATHER HAVE SEEN THOSE THAN THE OLYMPIANS .

Impressed by Khan,Perfect performance but just cant see his chin holding out for long.
But he is a world champion at 22,he does'nt need to prove anything else,to become a world champion is a great Honour and he must be proud of himself and should be.
Felt sorry for Hall tonight, really wanted him to win, seems a down to earth kind of fella, but fair do's to Small,The finish was pretty Impressive.
Also impressed with Saunders Preformace tonight against a solid durable Opponent,Pick his shots very well and looked very strong.

You have to give to him. He boxed a great fight and didn't run out of steam which I suspected. I still think he's in big trouble when he's thrown in against a world class puncher but that won't likely be for a long, long time.
