ANDY KERR
Re: ANDY KERR
Yeah I thought I recognised the voice when I first heard him do the interview, good to see A to the mutha fluffin K back in business, though to be fair I didn't mind Gabriel Clarke as much as many of the posters do on here.

Re: ANDY KERR
Little bit of trivia on Gabriel Clark. He's the son of the legendary British film director Alan Clark (Scum, Made in Britain, The Firm) who passed away nearly 20 years ago. Come to think of it Gabriel is probably nearly as old as his dad was when he passed.The_Don1 wrote:Yeah I thought I recognised the voice when I first heard him do the interview, good to see A to the mutha fluffin K back in business, though to be fair I didn't mind Gabriel Clarke as much as many of the posters do on here.
That aside I always liked Andy Kerr. The perfect foil for Steve Bunce. Can you imagine 'Slim' Jim Rosenthal in the studio with Buncey? That would be a riot. I can just imagine there been lots of awkward long pauses as Jim struggles to get Buncey's innuendos while McGuigan giggles like a 9 year old in the back ground.
Re: ANDY KERR
THANK GOD THEY GOT RID OF GABRIEL CLARKE!!! Kerr did a good job tonight, knows his stuff and knows what to ask at the right times. Thankyou ITV.

Good to see him back he is a good interviewer asks the questions you want without being a clown ( Gabriel Clarke )
Re: ANDY KERR
Thought It was a really good show. Very impressed with Cleverly. He looks so good now. Very strong as well as quick. Definitely a future world title contender. I really rate Danny McIntosh. A very good domestic fighter but Cleverly showed how good he was to do that to him.
Shame Tyson didn't get more of a workout last night!

I'm sure I remember Andy commentating on the Championship programme on a Sunday morning, so no big surprise to see them using his supreme talents on Saturday.

Never knock Gabriel though. Very very few journalists as good as him anywhere. One of the people who made me want to do this job
Re: ANDY KERR
Come on Hagler - I wouldn't ask you about your money / holiday/ lying low work situation!!!
I probably wouldn't be allowed to talk about it anyway!

McIntosh's girlfriend, Clevs girlfriend or Clevs cousin?
In all seriousness, good to see Andy's still about, some good interviews the other night.

Re: ANDY KERR
I always liked the post Howard Eastman v Garry Beardsley interview.
GR: "That was a bit of a waste of time wasn't it Howard, he shouldn't have been in a ring with you"
HE: "Why not, he's a tough man"
GR: "He isn't a top middleweight like you should be fighting"
HE: "Name me a middleweight you think I should be fighting"
GR: "Erm....well, erm, cough...well Mick Hennessy whats your verdict"
Words to that effect.
