Horace Notice v Harold Hylton in the final of the 1983 ABA Heavyweight Champs. Poor Harold was sleeping like a baby. (Tip of the hat to Bennie on this one.)

My favourite, Hearns V Shuler. Awesome body punchers followed by a straight right hand.

What about Tszyu on Judah? I seem to remember Judah doing his own impression of MC Hammer.

The most exciting must have been Ali coming off the ropes to knock out Foreman after beeing pounded the whole fight, with his rope a dope plan! Not a big KO just exciting.

Must admit the recent KO of Tak from Alexander was a good clean punch with devastating power!

Lefthookhappy19 wrote:Arguello on Rooney was one of the most perfect right hands ive ever seen. Hearns on James Shuler was a great shot as was his on Duran. Julian Jackson on Herol Graham and Buster Drayton was a great display of power. Macarinelli's left hook on Bruce Scott was a work of art. Ray Leonard on Davey Green was great. Bob Foster on Tiger and Quarry. Zamora on Pedroza.
Arguello- Rooney was a pure class KO. What a fighter Alexis was.

I maintain that the most chilling Ko I have seen is Kenny Vice - Jim McDonnell, with Azumah Nelson - Pat Cowdell a close second.

Was the criteria that the fights all had to be in the US?

I'd second that as the best one I've ever seen.

Mike Tyson v Trevor Berbick

Tyson knocked out Berbick three times with one punch. I always seem to remember that Berbick looked like a child in a play pen, his legs just did not belong to him.
