Tyson Fury last night
Re: Tyson Fury last night
Didn't really know what he was saying about just fighting for the fans, if he was unfit then he should not have been fighting, i don't suppose the fans enjoyed that proformance much at all so what was the point.

I think John McDermott will burst the Tyson bubble well and trult.. Tyson is a funny shape with a big mouth. With some proper training and PR advice, not to mention some decent opposition, he coulld do well - but let's wait and see how he copes with being hit hard on the chin.

Re: Tyson Fury last night
Well he needs to get the back sorted, if that is the reason he was in such bad shape.
He shouldn't get into the ring with McDerrmott if the back isn't right.

Re: Tyson Fury last night
Sad to see that last night, first things first he needs his back sorting out, if he isn't fully fit then why get in the ring and potentially put himself at risk of further injury.
He would still beat up on McDermott though, would be an easy nights work for him imo.

Re: Tyson Fury last night
I like Fury's confidence but if he believes in his own hype too much, his work in the gym will suffer.
He won't get to title level by taking shortcuts

I know I may get ripped apart here - and I am sure he'd want to stay at home.....
But I'd ship him over to Germany and set-up camp there. Get a thing going by fighting between both Germany and here - pick up domestic titles while appearing on the continent in non-title fights, and get in training camp with the Klitschko's, Lamon Brewster, Chagaev, Valuev, Dimitrenko etc et etc. Any of them guiding him a bit would do wonders, he could do it for 3 or 4 years and still only be mid-20's. Obviously, I'd try to get a deal going with K2 and the Klitschko's if possible.
I think it would do him the world of good.

After watching his other `fights`, I started to watch last nights .. and just kinda thought "nah, lets see whats on the other side".
His opponents look in terrible condition. He looks in terrible condition. Whats the point? Just to hear the hype about him being the most exciting heavyweight in the country/world
No thanks![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)

Re: Tyson Fury last night
Erm, I did my back earlier this year. It was obvious I wouldnt be able to run, row or do any weights. So here's the thing, I cut back on my calorie / carb intake.
And I'm not a professional sportsman.
Who the fornicate is advising / managing him??????

Hugely talented imo, maybe he just can't get himself up for knocking these tomato cans over every 4 weeks!
Up Tyson in class and I'm pretty sure you will see a different fighter.

Re: Tyson Fury last night
he puts on the weight quicker than most big of his size no british heavyweight bar haye would stand a chance an give it a couple of years he'll be calling haye out, furys gonna go all the way
Re: Tyson Fury last night
This might be a bit contraversial but i will stick my neck out and say that i don't think tyson fury will realise his potential unless he employs a proper, experienced, professional, modern training team - which means leaving the family behind.

Re: Tyson Fury last night
i will say this for Tyson- who is probably my second favourite fighter in britain belive it or not- he is starting to sit down on his punches much more than he was on debut. oh, also, he seems like a bloody nice and very laidback fella, always has time to patiently sign autographs and have pictures taken, etc.
i like Tyson

Who's your number one then?
Steven Smith?
And you're a bit of a Tyson nut - you seem to have seem a lot of him.

Re: Tyson Fury last night
Fury grimaces when he throws a hard shot, and when he does that he reminds me of Jaws (Richard Kiel).
You can just about see it here:

Re: tyson fury is all hype
David Price showed nothing in his debut to suggest he would tear Fury apart. If he ever gets back in the ring, than maybe he can show us something special that makes him superior to Fury.deverstater wrote:just seen fury fight from saturday, what a disgrace, apologies for da late debate but he aint going anywhere. i know his opponent wasnt much but still the hype surrounding this lanky giant is amazing, david price wud tear him apart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
