This is to inform all fans of Yama Bahama of Bimini, Bahamas that he passed away on June 29th, 2009 in Florida at the age of 76 of Pancreatic Cancer. His real name was William Horatio Butler. His middle name was misspelled in many articles over time. He had a Memorial service in Miami Gardens, Fl. on July 9th, 2009 and was funeralized and buried in his hometown of Bimini, Bahamas on July 11th, 2009.
