Paul cook was ready to stop the fight at the end of the round , but an old cut had reopened under the eye was the main reason the fight was stopped.

Thanks for the info- yeah, Kell Brook was clearly dominant, but it seem a quite sudden stoppage- from where I was sitting I wasn't aware of a cut.

I wondered too if Lomax was hurt and hadn't recovered from that flurry earlier on, where he was down (ruled as a slip.) From where I was sitting , and the footage, it was clear Kell had caught him and hurt him.
