TAKALOO: THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT

Post by DIRT SUGAR »

I've talked to Takaloo and he said he'd like to thank everyone for their support last Friday and in the days after.

He wants to thank everyone who came to York Hall. He said the atmosphere was brilliant and he felt like he was fighting at home and he is sorry he didn't give his fans the result they wanted.

He would love a rematch against Wayne and says it was a great punch but he says he'd like to see if Wayne could do it again. He also understands this is business too and that Wayne will be looking for decent money against Santos and he wishes him the best and hopes maybe he can put himself in line for a title shot if Wayne wins.

He said he really appreciates everyone's concerns after the fight and thanks everyone for phoning him and sending him good luck messages.

Although the knockout was a nasty one and his immediate thought was to give up, he feels he's only 28 and that he can come back.

He said he would have had serious concerns if he had been beaten up for eight or nine rounds and that it was just one of those things and that better fighters than him have walked onto one after a good opening round – ie Roy Jones – and that if he'd been a bit closer, had his hands just a little higher and landed his punch to Wayne's ribs first, maybe it would have been a different story.

However, he said, life goes on and Takaloo will be back! :TU:

I think he's still recovering from the punch.

Neil: do you ever have anything good to say???
You seem to spend most of your time making sneaky digs at other people.

Cos he asked me to thank everyone in an interview I'm doing for a newspaper and he knows I go on the web (I remember him saying his PC is playing up), that's why and I know he'll appreciate me passing on his thanks... tosser!

Well said. The geezer's just been whacked out, and he should come on here and talk to people, for what reason exactly?

Good luck to Tak on the comeback trail, I like him always struck me as a decent chap and this is being proved by his attitude, best of luck to him.

As for the rest, Neil mate, I like you dont get me wrong but you can be sometimes overtly acidic for apparently no reason at all.

be nice!!! :TU:
