Okay chaps. I'm a belated owner. Played twice last night. Plan to go online soon [this week].
Screen name is boxingwriter
So would be happy to be target practice for anyone.

Re: Semi-OT: Fight Night Round 4
got the game few few weeks ago
im really stuggling online with this one
i think the old online options were better where you joined a room and chose your opponents
this one seems a bit strange also with the 3 weight categories
ill add you next time im on and see if i can find you
the option to dowload created boxers is quality though
David haye is the double of him and Naz aswell.

My girlfriend won't let me get a Playstation.
My friends wanted to get me one for my birthday, but she told them not to.
I got a year's subcription to The Economist instead.![[icon_e_sad.gif] :verysad:](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)

Have you still got all of the 12th man collection???!?!? Have got almost everything now but missing one or two!! And poor old William Maurice Lawry has lost it completely. Lol!
Hopefully getting a PS3 this weekend so I'll be commencing battle next week.

Re: Semi-OT: Fight Night Round 4
I have, although I'm missing the second half of one of the early ones.BigGar wrote:Hello Carbo,Carbo wrote:My girlfriend won't let me get a Playstation.

Which ones are you missing? If you have Skype, or something, you can post your address or PM me, and I'll zap you what you're missing.
TO be honest, the last one, Boned!, was a bit of a dissappointment, but it was still decent. My favourite, though, is The Final Insult, which is fantastic and deals with Kerry Packer's plans to stop Richie from retiring, and Richie's efforts to organize a successor, including telling Tony Greig to get a wig, Bill Laurie to have a nose job, and Ian Chappel to take drama lessons.
Got 'im! Go on, piss off you're out!

She's great thanks DP. She was 4 last week and is an absolute scream. Getting plenty of lip now though as a result of school! Not living with her mother now but things have worked out very well to be honest and I get to see her every day. She'll be battering me on the PS3 in no time as she's scary good on a PC!
How's all with you? You have more than one now don't you??

I'd also like to make it plain that I'm very happy with my subscription to The Economist, which is the best magazine in the world.
And Ms. Carbo does have a point when she says that a Playstation might inhibit things like "work" and "personal time".

Get an XBOX 360 Playstation 3 ain't all that much cop mate!
My brother has clocked Fight Night 4 just retired champ with 130 fight's and only lost 4 or 5 and there is a download out or coming out so you can use button's if you don't like the joystick effort!!

The Sega Megadrive is the best.Adamj1987 wrote:ps3 is the bestHardhitters11 wrote:Get an XBOX 360 Playstation 3 ain't all that much cop mate!
Sensible Soccer, Streetfighter II, and Magabomberman were all extremely popular in little-Carbo's house. Far more so than anything I've had since. Although Metal Gear Solid and Gran Tourismo on the PS2 came mighty close.

I agree, the buttons are far more intuitive, and you won't end up with arthritis of the thumbs.Walker Smith Jr. wrote:Good, should of been in there from the start.Hardhitters11 wrote:Get an XBOX 360 Playstation 3 ain't all that much cop mate!
