2009 Georgia Games

July 18th and 19th. More than 200 boxers weighed in, boxers from Ga. N.C., S.C., and Tenn. 2 rings , nearly 40 bouts a night in each ring. If you havent been to the Georgia games they do a fabulous job each year putting this tournament together.

I didnt keep track of the results. Alot of the bouts were J.O. and Novice. Anyone interested in competing in the Georgia games next year - its held every year in July (3rd weekend around the 18th) you can check the Georgia Amateur Boxing Assoc. website - or Georgia Games website for specifics. The competition is held in Doraville, Ga., 20 minutes north of Atlanta, Ga..
