Stegsie,
Can you make any comment at all on the rumour Jamie's got his World Title chance against Martinez ?
If it's garbage then it can be put to bed.

Stegsie,
Is that Sunderland show on 9th October nailed on, as the most recent Board update had a Matchroom show set for Liverpool Olympia that same night ?
If Sunderland is indeed on 9th, is the venue the Crowfoot Leisure Centre ?
Cheers.

really do think it an absolute joke to be onnest vip and frank maloney couldnt save that show just coz moore was ill hope he gets better soon he a top bloke im sure people would agree davies vs napa would av bin a better scrap than moores coz jamie wud av just blew him away in 1 round probably so to scrap a full show when every other fighter has trained for 8weeks and dieted for 8 weeks is down to bad management and the fact gary has to now defend his belt in napas back garden is even more of a joke im speaking as a boxing fan here not garys brother hope u respect that.

I was gutted that Davies v Napa show wasnt on up here to save the bill too, it'd have been a great friday fight night.
Im really looking forward to watching Rick Godding v Askew at Southport. Think Rick will really have the opportunity to show off his skills against a non-journey man fighter.
Do we know who else is on the bill yet?

you've got to ask yourself why is he defending against maloneys golden boy in his first defence, full stop why not take a couple of money making fights first, then go for nappa,ok gary can dig, nappa is a class boxer, proven at this level, its beyond me,why hes boxing him straight away?

Appreciate your comments Lee, but it really was purely down to Sky pulling the plug when Jamie had to withdraw. Nothing VIP or Maloney could do about it.

Southport bill will be a cracker. This show will feature Southports only Professional boxer Mike Stafford and will be supported by Carl Dilcs , Lee Jennings , Trevor Crewe , Nick Quigley and Chris Johnson. Tickets priced at £30.00 general and £50.00 ringside will be available on http://www.vipbe.co.uk from next week :box:
