Frank Maloney is promoting Booth v Hunter and it's on a Tony Jeffries bill in Sunderland so i'd say it's pretty much guaranteed to be on Sky.

Seems daft to have two big fights like this on the same night, it's always the way with British boxing though.

Basically things are gonna be set up for Sexton to loose, theres not realy ranking benefit for Sexton in this one, and even if he does do a sweet number on Rogan, people will still be jabbering on about the contraversy of their first fight.

The fact that they are planning of staging it in Belfast again, I think is an injustice to Sexton. The Belfast fans were spitting on Sexton pre-fight and throwing things at him as he walked past them. Plus Sextons been to the lions den and came out, all be it having gone through the toughest fight in his career, he boxed great and all boxers get caught - he still won.

This should be held in London as Sexton is the champ now so it will be a more mutual stage, that will also bring the big city fans out, the transport from Belfast to London is excellent and more affordable for Sexton's horde of Norwich fans.

But then I guess THE ALLEGEDLY FW is just thinking 'cash cash' rather then about Sextons fans, chances and future, it's clear he doesn't really give a damn about either of these 2 fighters and would rather be bed buddies with Del Boy and Amir.

BRING IT ON, IN LONDON! Sexton stops him again!
Lots of BS in that post - I bolded the most stinky pieces!
For once I agree with you Sligo. There aint no way this Sexton fella has a big fanbase outside of his own friends and family.I would have spit on the cheater too.

I've never wanted to see a fighter get such a "beat down" as I have with Sexton. Every action and word the man utters makes me cringe. A cheat and a coward - probably a little harsh but that is my lingering memory of the first fight and his post fight comments.

I dont think the man will get a good reception in Ireland!

Judging by the last show, nobody is going to get a good reception in Belfast!

I think Sexton will get the job done more emphatically this time. People forget how many times he hurt Rogan.

Seems like Sky will not use a Saturday unless its a PPV.

lirva wrote:fergal, what would your prediction of a Vitali klitschko vs Rogan fight be mate?
Lirva, what would your prediction be of you not jumping on every post made in support of an Irish boxer by someone new to the forum? What would your prediction be of you not assuming that if someone is new to this forum that they don't have a clue about boxing?
Do you somehow think that your opinion is more valid than others on here because you have been posting longer?

Fergal is correct. When the cheating Englishman turned his back on Rogan while on the ropes the fight should have been over. But of course I know you will not agree with this cos you are biased towards English boxers. :TU:

Both fighters know they can hurt the other, but I think the most telling thing was that, post fight, Rogan would've got back in with Sexton the next day, while Sexton wanted no part of Rogan whatsoever. Why would you not want a big money rematch with a guy you just outboxed, hurt and stopped?

I reckon we might see a negative Sexton get stopped in rounds 7-10.
