Birchy, are the Contendor promotors making life a bit more difficult for Sakio than he would like ??

I agree we don't need anymore alphabet titles, but the way the elite organisations, particularly the WBA, have gone lately if these alphabet organisations exist I would hope they are like the IBO.

Mate i agree with everything you said, i actually like the IBO strap, good champions and contests.
If they become a major, noone will know who the real champ is, as it's really hard as is.

I'm all for getting rid of the WBA, they are the whore of organisations, heres probally the best fighter in the supermiddles upcoming title defence http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hu ... &cat=boxer ........... what other orginisation would sanction this?
And we all seen Mundine's campaign as the WBA super middle champ, it was embarresing.

Apparently " Monzon's son " Ramon Moyano couldn't make the flight to fight Bika but what a terrific replacement they've come up with.
Nestor Fabian Casanova 22. 14 . 0. ranked 11th in Argentina.
Beaten 3 times by Ruben Acosta who Mundine ko'd in 4

Lost his last 3 fights and was dropped '' 9 '' times in the process.
Can't wait for this one.

Promoters don't read BoxRec forum ?
They must have got this bloke cheap. [ Casanova ]
Some promoters get it right. Angelo De Carlo's card on 18th September looks a good one.

The way thing are going with the sanctioning Bodies . Maybe we can drop the WBA and lift the IBO to the top 4.

With the Interim, Super, Ordinary, Champion in recess the WBA has become an absolute joke.

6 light heavyweight Zac Awad 12 (6) - 0 (0) - 0
SC Shane McConville 2 (0) - 0 (0) - 3

Interesting fight. Can McConville pull out another DRAW?

Shane McConville beat the Leb hands down.

King Davidson looked evil fighting a very poor import. I dont think there is anyone in Aus that would fight Davidson and put up a challange.

Shane got ripped off with the draw in that one. Could not see how he did not get the decision. Gift decision for Awad, protect his unbeaten record I guess. Good fight otherwise.
Are we sure Casanova has actually fought before? Looked very, very soft there. Bika didn't look happy about it, unless it was just me.
Man I hope Cabuy never fights in Australia ever again. That was embarrassing.

Fair wrap up mate.

I had Shane shitting all over Awad for five of six rounds, bogus, bogus decision...

Asswin should never fight again but in saying that I reckon King is the real deal. His speed is amazing, punches crisp and movement superb. A few more fights and I reckon he would give The Rock Dan Dawson absolute fits....

I actually recorded the other two fights but it sounds like Bika did what was expected.

Fight of the night was Solo vs the spartan warrior. Good quality stoush.

I hope OneHD rated o.k. and I hope they see a future in live free to air boxing. But if they do, some changes need to be made. It needs to be more professional, with more competitive cards.
