Re: Haye-Vitali off now its Haye-Valuev!
that'll be why Wank Rag (ringtv.com) have got the knives out on Haye, then.
"he should fight Chris Areola - it would have been a tougher fight than Barrett!"
"he screwed over the Klitschkos - both of them!"

Contract being double-checked by Golden Boy, who cannot, will not, accept one of their fighters taking on someone who is under the age of 65.

In his 21st fight he went away to France and beat Mormeck for the WBC and WBA cruiserweight titles in his own backyard! In his 19th fight he beat an undefeated Fragomeni for the EBU title and he destroyed Enzo Macc for the WBA, WBC and WBO titles, just as he said he would. He has backed up a lot!
He has had two fights at heavy, both KO wins. Now he is talking a lot so he gets the big fights!
Do you think he would have had a chance of getting a shot at Valuev's title if he didn't talk so much? No, of course not.

Yeah, he backed up talked at Cruiser, at Heavyweight he's done nothing and struggled with Monte Barrett! Cruiser achievements meaning nothing to the Heavyweights.
Talking shit to Valuev might of not got him his chance though. They've seen he's been inactive and could be seeing him as a soft touch like most of Valuev's opponents.

Yes I am very sensitive when it comes to David Haye, I always stick up for men with similar physiques to myself.Max Molyneux wrote:Ffs? Are you that sensitive.doctorboxing wrote:Oh ffs.Max Molyneux wrote: I just get put off by poop talking. He hasn't backed it up.

Struggled with Monte Barret?? He beat him quicker than Wlad, Valuev and Rahman managed - he knocked him down about five times. Yes he got caught when flayling a bit, but he was hardly hurt.
Talking sh*t got him recognized in the States as the man to possibly dethrone the Klits - that talk has got him a hell of a lot of publicity. That publicity means TV and ticket revenue - that is why Valuev is fighting him for a "world title" despite Haye only having two heavyweight fights and that is why he is even on the Klits radar at all.

I'll give it to Haye. By the time the Valuev fight happens he will have the casual fans thinking that Valuev is a better fighter than both the Klits because he is bigger and heavier
You could see he was playing up this bullshit when he first came on sky to hype the fight
He sure can hype a fight. I hope he is fit and healthy for this one because another pullout and it mught be all she wrote for his HW title ambitions, at leats for a good few years

Re: Haye-Vitali off now its Haye-Valuev!
Damn, I hope Haye can do this. It's such an interesting fight, can Haye really hit and move for 12 rounds against this immovable lump? Could be exhausting for him. I don't think he can budge Valuev unless he keeps landing at will - and with Haye's arsenal that's entirely possible.
However I just can't see past the terrible scenerio of Haye punching himself out again and being laid out, or even just being caught early with something.
