Just back from holiday

Post by Goz »

And what have I missed...

Thompson shocking Haye, only just found out the result this evening, genuinely surprised, I thought David would have too much for him, of ambition and skill anyway. Fair play to The Cat though, a great year for him.

Alexander sparking Takaloo!! Again, I strongly fancied Tak to keep out of harms way for 3/4 rounds by which time Wayne would be puffing like an 80 year smoker who has just run for a bus and Tak would blow him away with the wind of his wild shots.

Hopkins stopping DLH, I couldn't really see anyway Oscar could win this fight to be honest, but something in the back of my head (not my large mole) kept saying 'Leonard-Hagler'. This was the only result I actually knew prior to returning this afternoon.

If any of you are interested, Kefalonia (Greek Island) is a top place to go away for a couple of weeks, lot's to do and see, many places to eat and drink but it isn't Aya Napa or Pathos either, a lot more grown up.

Sorry to post what I can see has already been gone over a hundred fold but some of the results really surprised me...

Nice to see you back, Goz. And Kefalonia sounds all right for a wrinkly like me. :TU:

Bad timing for me though, boxing seems to have been so poor for ages and then really sets on fire again while I'm frying on a beach reading poor books.

Oh well, at least I've got the 'Ricky and Joe show' coming soon to a tv screen all too near me....
