Don't think it's anything to do with this, Adam - not in this case, anyway (though you are right, generally).

In this case, all the events are scheduled, if you get my drift. Home test matches, rugby world cup, etc. They are pretty much guaranteed to happen. That isn't the way with boxing - if boxing wasn't so utterly sh*t in terms of self-governance, you could have 'any world title fight involving a British fighter'.

Then you're back where you started with Audley v Hersisia for the WBWank title, etc.

I used to think that. Then I lived away for a couple of years where we had US telly. No comparison - the BBC (apart from having far too many unaccountable bureaucrats) comes up with some great viewing. There's surely something for everyone.
