Yeah, come on boxrec bastards - tell me how I can see the Witter fight.

I'm not bothered about watching it live actually...any idea where might have it the morning after?

I'm sure it's the Ingles who put him up to this stuff, I always thought Witter came off as being quite shy and retiring personally.

Devon Alexander vs Demarcus Corley Video
Thanks for that Gomez, Alexander looks good technically but hittable, fast hands but a little predicatable, not that much pop. This is a winnable 1 for Junior imo but he'll have to be at his best

He blasted out Hurtado, beat Ukral twice, Lazcano, Stevie Johnston, Mbaiye. Harris had allot of hype about him at 1 stage.

Either way Witter has fought 6 world champions and beat 4 top10 fighters in his career, 5 if you count 35-1 Bergman.

It's not really their style to 'put him up to it' but you're right about Junior, generally. He will give a direct question a direct answer though so if he's asked about it, he won't swerve. Interview between Junior and yours truly a few years back:

"How much do you want to fight Hatton."
"A lot. I'll tell you how much I want to fight him - forget the purse - I'll fight him winner takes all."
"F*ck's sake. That's a bit extreme, isn't it?"
"Actually...yeah...you're right...that is a bit extreme." :TU:

More likely Hennessy PR team judging by their history.

Witter would be a natural in the studio when the time comes. Gives level-headed analysis whenever i've read it. Calz/Bhop, he got bang on.

Just weatched some of the Alexander for the first time, against Corley, and have to say that i expected to see better from Alexander. There's a lot of hype around him, and although he looks like a good solid fighter, i see nothing special. He has fast hands, throws a good jab and a good straight left, but does not throw much else. He sets a good pace and is aggressive, but he seems predictable and i reckon a sharp shooter like Witter should be able to time him and get off some big shots. However, if Witter cannot stop him, or score no knock downs, he will likely loose this one on points.

C'mon Witter :TU:

Has anyone seen him?
I've seen a bit of him in action including his full fight against Corley.

Alexander is a busy little fighter, tries to punch and commits with his shots but lacks true power Tidy and technically sound, but defense is open at times and aggression could work against him if the right version of Witter turns up.

Witter's fight to win or lose. If he's ready and firing on all cylinders he'll beat this guy comfortable. But there is every chance he finds himself outpointed on a King promoted card against one of King's men. Junior needs to bite down and find some form!

Probably not sadly. I think his peak days were 5 years ago. A points loss methinks.

I've not seen anything of Devon Alexander in action, but Bradley has given the rest of the World the blueprint of how to beat Junior IMO, I thought Bradleys gameplan was superb in that fight. If Alexander uses a similar gameplan and has the necessary attributes such as a decent chin and good stamina, then he should cause Witter problems.

I'm hoping Witter bounces back with avengance though and proves that the Bradley fight was just a poor night at the office.
