I would like to ask the primary record-keepers why there is no listing of middleweight Tony "the Pony" Paisano in the database? I have videotapes of three of Paisano's bouts from 1986, so I am certain that he actually competed in the pro ranks.
These bouts are:
Paisano TKO 3 Ruben Blackwell (2/24/86)
Paisano TKO 4 Drafton Bunch (3/31/86)
Paisano TKO 1 Milton Bush (?/?/86)
Blackwell, Bunch, and Bush are all in the database, but their records show no evidence of these matches, and in the cases of Blackwell and Bunch, no fights at all are recorded for the dates listed (I don't have the exact date of the Bush meeting). Has it been discovered that these bouts were frauds? Is there some other technical reason for ignoring or eliminating them? Paisano was a very crude fighter, but he was both courageous and powerful, so all three bouts are quite entertaining.
By the way, this is my first visit to the forum and also my first post. Steve V.

Thanks for the quick response. I checked my tapes, and in all three matches, the fighter is introduced as Tony Paisano, that's the way the name is spelled on-screen, and that's how he is addressed when interviewed by Lisa Bowman following his victories. I guess he went through a "Paisano" stage. He is also credited with two losses in his first five fights (coming in 3-2 for Blackwell). Steve V.
