Calzaghe said in a recent interview.

About 3 years ago a fight fell through that was due to be held at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff that would have held 60,000 people

that was the hopkins fight.

Calzaghe only sells a few thousand tickets. hopkins is a complete unkown over here to the average person on the street 3 years ago when it was meant to happen.

so can someone explain how 60k thousand people would go and see two unkown fighters to the average person fight each other. SN would have to put everyone one of there boxers on the undercard and also manchester united v arsenal as the main event.

no one has sold 60000 tickets since Billy Walker I am sure....

How the fornicate Calzaghe thinks he can do it when, Benn, Eubank, Lewis, Hatton, Hamed couldnt....

he cannot sell 3000 tickets no matter who he fights at super middle, trust me.... the undercard fighters probably sell more

was eubank - benn a sellout? it looked like it. i think it gone of gone over 60, 00 if that was the case?

I think the rematch at old trafford did about 40k not sure about the first fight. I recall the two tyson fights here did huge numbers too, not sure on the official figures though.
