Terrific fight. Carl Allen said N'dou was by far and away the best opponent he has ever fought - and he's fought a lot of good ones.

N'Dou is indeed proper quality.

Is the face of pressurised promoters coming up with proper fights or a one off?

This is news to me as well, N'dou is a fighter who has mixed at the top level before, namely with Mayweather...can't wait for this matchup!!

He lost to unbeaten Isaac Hlatshwayo, i think he was dehydrated as well after the fight. That loss suggests N'dou is on a downward spiral and Cook could be reaching him at the right time.

But the Isaac guy is clearly no mug - he also beat two Malinga's one of whom I saw walk right through Colin Lynes at Light-Welter.

And he fights Lovemore N'Dou next month, and I'm speaking to him this weekend so he may shed some light on how capable he is.

I think N'Dou is the far and away the best fighter Cook has fought.

He's mixed in goood company and never been disgraced.

Great fight, but OOBVIOUSLY, until I see them in the ring....etc,etc...

One assumes Dynamite Dean Phillips will be challenging Kevin Bennett for the Commonwealth lightweight title on the same bill. Sounds like another good 'un from Shep.

Looks a step too far for Cooke, N'dou is a brilliant fighter with a knockout punch in either hand. Sounds like a tough loss he had last time out, but he should still have too much for Cooke you'd think.

He didn't say he would beat Corrales etc. just that he would like to fight the best. Good on him I say
surely he believes he can though? otherwise why want to fight them ,surely if he believes he still has more to learn before facing them he should be content to bide his time.

If he beats N'dou it'll put a lot of weight onto his CV, couldnt quite imagine cookie in las vegas.... good luck to him though!
