Boxing in the UK

I just moved to London and have been pretty depressed about the slim pickings of boxing on TV. I have a good fight pub nearby, so the British bouts (Kahn v. Kotelnik, etc) aren't much of a problem, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any good cable tv channels or even web sites where boxing is shown from, say, Germany, the US, etc. Was there any place the Alexander v. Witter/Bradley v. Campbell bouts were shown?

I don't mind paying a few quid to watch them.

Just curious.

Bad news for you mate Boxing on the box is scarse since Setanta went bust there is the odd Eurosport bill channel 410 on a Sky Box there is also Sky Sports with Friday Fight Nights and the odd Pay Per View bill which costs £15 mostly and ESPN Classic sometimes shows old fights channel 442 part from that there is very little

O and on a Monday night (I think) Channel 5 show a US Bout that has happened but that is about 2 in the morning that is on

think its a sunday night alex and its normally ESPN FNF that is shown on channel 5.

A sh1t hole. But full of character and, indeed, 'characters'. Brilliant atmosphere when there's a needle match on or a well supported fella against a live opponent.

I remember being next to Ian Napa at the bar once and when he ordered you could see the lass wondering if she should ask him for ID.

The place is sound, and handy for the tube if you're commuting. Can't go wrong...

A sh1t hole Its just had a massive amount of Money spent on it, think it was a mill or so cant you see the Difference I know what your saying where did all that money go, New Turnstiles and the toilets in a different part but thats it... the Changing Rooms are a Dump..


But it is a Great Place to go and Watch boxing, the Atmosphere is Brillant

I haven't been since the re-fit mate...hope it's looking good. I did see a certain someone beat Argie Ward there though
