Nothing to fact, it's all hearsay and that should be the end of it. No one saw him or has acutal evidence to support what Rogan accused him of and who ever is talking like it's fact that Sexton did that; you are just as bad as what Rogan suggests. Unless you actually saw him or have undinable PROOF then just drop it, leave politics outta boxing espically if your speaking from hearsay.

Rogan is spitting taunts to make sure he fills the arena and builds up the grudge he has for Sexton and that is an end of it.

After all this it's a discrace it's being held in Belfast again. It's just fwank wanting to get Rogan the belt back and sell tickets off it, Sexton is going to be stepping into the worst place to defend his belt, it's a discrace. fwank has zero equality when thinking about the actual fairness to his boxers and whats best for them. It's basically going to be another 'Rogan' show and Sexton being lined up to be the lamb to the slaughter again, the difference being, this lamb was a wolf and gave better then what he got in the ring last time.[/quote]

Hang on there a second Terrez, your more or less saying that Rogan is lying about what Slimey Sam did. So you think that Rogan would go so low as to accuse Sexton of this with no proof? Why didn't Sexton deny it there and then if he didn't do what he was accused of?Rogan wouldn't mention politics and religion just to sell tickets, that's what your accusing him of.The venue is no disgrace cos Sexton can't sell out any venue,Rogan is the attraction and the one who was robbed of his title so it should be in Belfast.

It's more then likely that rogan in his state of lost control and anger would exagerate things in order to get one up on Sexton. It's better to accuse Rogan of using blown up accusations when he's clearly full tilt then it is to believe that Sexton tried to insight some racial hatred. Think about it logically before you try to reply with some smart assy comment, your saying im accusing rogan of lying well your accusing Sexton of racial and religious hatred if you support what rogan says. Thats a bigger pill to swallow is it not.

So enough of this crap the facts or your wasting your time on me.

Your going on about facts but you are the one accusing Rogan of making it all up to sell tickets! Why didn't Sexton deny it?I know I wouldn't sit there like a gormless twat if someone was accusing me of inciting hatred between two communities in Belfast.Unless I was guilty of it.

It's understood that innocent people are not quick to deny or defend false accusations towards them. As if it has no bearing on you then why defend it or deny it. We all know those who loose it or are to quick to deny something generally have something to hide. Sexton not responding actually further confirms it was not an issue for him so why should he get into a discussion about it and come down to Rogans full tilt level when in the innocent persons eyes theres nothing to discuss.

That's a load of bollox Terrez! If Sexton was innoccent in all of this he or one of his team would have said something by now in his defense. How would Rogan falsely accusing Sexton of inciting hatred have no bearing on him?

I don't remember any "Sectarian" angle at the time and am not sure where it has originated from. I'm not saying it didn't happen, merely that I don't recall it around the time of the fight. I'm sure Sexton is not stupid enough to stir up community hatred, a wasps nest which doesn't need much poking at the best of times! Whatever was and wasn't said, Rogan is certainly annoyed!

Agreed

I hope Sexton sticks two fingers up to Belfast and Rogan's little tantrum and box's his head off. With a bit more stamina he should do this comfortably.

supposedly Sexton went over to East Belfast and was having his picture taken in front of Loyalist murals if an effort to garner support from the protestant community.

Having watched the video, I think it's clear that Rogan didn't make up the fact that Sexton tried to drum up support among loyalists by posing in front of their mural. Why am I so sure? Because Sexton's camp were very quick to deny another accusation by Rogan - that the Sexton corner was about to throw in the towel. Strange then that they should be totally silent when Rogan repeatedly accused them of stirring up sectarian hatred. So I now hate Sexton for three reasons:

1) Trying to win over a few fans at the expense of peace in Northern Ireland.

2) Appealing to Rogan's sportsmanship by pointing at his fallen gumshield, only to throw in a couple of cheap shots when Rogan kindly relaxed his guard. This was possibly the most unsportsmanslike act I ever seen in a boxing ring.

3) Despite being saved by a highly questionable intervention by the referee after stumbling around the ring like a town drunk, he had the audacity, initially at least, to say he didn't want a rematch.

It's time Sexton returned to his true calling in life - standing in a doorway in Norwich looking hard, surrounded by puking, semen-stained teenagers.

I see, not the cleverest thing to do of course. I just wondered what it was that Sexton has done because Rogan has always come across as a decent, humble bloke and have never seen him that wound up. Hopefully he'll be regaining his title though :box:

To be fair, Sexton only love-tapped Roggie when Rogan didn't know what was going on. He even said to Steve Bunce that he did he so that the fight would recommence. But when he's on 'Enzo-Macc-legs' like he was, I don't know if carrying on the fight ASAP was his priority. Anyways, I hope Rogan smashes him, and I think he will.

In the last fight I predicted that Sexton would out-box him and win many of the early rounds before Rogan's will would stop Sexton. I was nearly right. Although, this time, I think Rogan will get to him very early. One things for certain, Rogan's going to be mega fired up.

Scary.

Sorry I didn’t spot this post sooner, (wife has been in hospital). Sexton was in Belfast before his fight and was asked to do an open training session for the press. MY CLUB, Eastside ABC, Team Alio Professional boxing offered the use of their gym as we had 2 other boxers on the bill and they were training as well.

Sexton did not pose at any loyalist paramilitary murals, he posed beside the Eastside ABC gym mural, this is a boxing mural ffs. I’ll try and upload all my photos of the day to a site soon but the best pictures can be viewed on www.EastsideBoxingClub.co.uk .

We offered the use of our gym as a PR exercise for the show and for Sexton (also to get our own 2 boxers mentioned as well) Ohh and by the way one of our boxers Willie Thompson actually now trainings out of Breen’s Gym alongside Rogan but is still managed by Team Alio.

Seems like this has been blown out of all proportion, he was taxied to our gym and away again after the photo shot.

Flip the coin a bit, where did Rogan take Sexton for the first PR shoot? Casement Park, and he scared the shite outta him with the “that’s not a bat an bag” “ It s a slither and a hurl an here’s what you do wee lad” Remember Rogan used to be a decent hurler lol. Can we take that as Rogan taking an Englishman into a Nationalist heartland to intimidate and scare him and also to encourage more ticket sales ?

Its all Pr , its all about ticket sales. There is no real anger in either of the boxers it’s a show.

Hardly a big loyalist mural now is it ? Its an AMA gym in East Belfast (granted 65% Protestant area) with the name Eastside ABC. The club has AMA boxer and Pro boxers that box all over Ireland and the club does not want to be involved in any secterian shite as they have worked very hard over the years to avoid this sort of BS and promote boxing as a national sport without divides.
