Superb stuff. I still can't believe something which makes as much sense as this is actually happening.

I hope Hennesey sorts it so we can watch the Abraham-Taylor fight from the Trent arena.

boxing news had a poll for this tourney.....kessler 53% .....Froch 33%......Abraham 9%.......not sure who next and then 2 guys on 1%

for me I'd be very surprised if anyone manages not to get obliterated by Abraham and yes I know he's stepping up.

The fights either won't all happen ..or won't happen in the planned time-frame......with this many variables and reputations at stake there's bound to be either injuries or "injuries".

NB.....Frochy, who I'm a fan of, wants to learn to keep that boat of his covered up cos there's some very smart punchers in this. He's in for some gruelling fights due to that style of his which can leave him open......hopefully he can relax a little more.....of course it's his game to an extent because he has excellent power himself.

As long as Abraham can get out the starting blocks a bit quicker, he's got every chance of winning this.

I certainly rank him higher than the much-vaunted Dirrell & Ward, thats for sure.

i think it's between dirrell, kessler & abraham.

i believe froch fights dirrell, kessler & abraham in his 3 fights.

that's him out at the group stage then. :D

i'm gonna stick with dirrell to beat kessler in the final. :box:

some of the fights happen on the same night i.e. froch-dirrell, abraham-taylor. dual broadcasts will surely prevent things from dragging out too long.

i went with froch over taylor on pts.

i hadn't seen pascal fight before he fought froch (only clips anyway).

on the prediction league i went with pascal on pts i seem to remember.

partly cos everyone else was going with froch and partly cos i did wonder how good froch was.

but this time i have no doubts. :shame:

i've seen quite a bit of dirrell and am convinced froch won't win.

It does fascinate me how everyone gives Dirrell so much credit.

He has never done 12 rounds and was dropped heavy by a midget in his early fights.

Trust me, when he lands in cold October Nottingham and gets the Froch stare down, he will lay in his hotel room that night and wonder what the f*ck he has got himself into, without having the necessary learning curve or experience.

His anus will dilate when he gets the knock on the door to say "Your On" and then gets the life booed out of him by 9,000 rabid Froch supporters on his ring walk.

Then he'll fanny about waiting whilst Froch gets a raucous reception.

I think the life will drain out of his legs and Froch will jump straight onto him and knock him out.

Carl is looking to make a statement in this fight.

Dirrell collects nike trainers, plays computer games and loves comedy films. This fight has come too soon and his nerves will disrupt him too much.
