Eastman didn't look that good last night but needed a good workout, he just doesn't work hard enough for my liking and although never hurt just got a little disorganised at times. I like watching him though, he is a good tactician and very methodical boxer who works well on the outside, however i think this world title "surge" may be coming a little late in his career and i doubt he has enough left to beat Jermain Taylor who is a special talent. Eastman will give Taylor problems but i just don't think he has enough in the tank to dominate for long spells against the fresher and possibly hungrier youngster.

I am a massive Eastman fan but has he proved anymore than Taylor? He lost his one big chance so far against Joppy and while Taylor hasn't fought in that class yet he has disposed all comers including Marquez, Martinez, Cervera and Hill with clinical punching, a great jab and the ability to box on the front foot or off the back foot.
I would say Taylor has better WINS on his resume than Eastman. Whilst I don't want to go doing Hopkins a disservice in anyway - he had an easier time with Joppy than I expected and perhaps it is in an indication of Joppy being overated.steve689 wrote:I am a massive Eastman fan but has he proved anymore than Taylor?
