One of the biggest fights of the year and no one is showing it. Sky need to show this fight making up for the friday night mismatches. :x. god knows what they did with the PPV money they got for the delahoya match. :x :x

Yes, one of the most intriguing contests of the years. I am afraid it is probably the signs of things to come. Sky did well when they had some competition, but I'm afraid the competition will not be there after April of next year.

We have the same problem here. The station that had the Don King card did renew it and they probably wont renew the contract with HBO after tongihhts fight and after the Mosley vs Wright fight, we wont be able to see any boxing on danish TV except a few Team Palle PPV cards and Klitschko and Tyson fights that are shown on a channel that only around 10,000 people can see, thank god for Eurosport or I wouldnt be able to see any boxing.

German fans seem to have it good, they get almost everything, especially the big fights.

Team Palle also postponed two cards in october so we are really lucky..... Problem is that they only have 1 TV date laft and they have burned most of the bridges with all danish tv stations so they need to have some bargain power, probably one of the reasons that they wouldnt let Kessler fight in Australia.
Last year Team Palle lost $1mill and they cant afford to do that again. Many of their fighters now have full time jobs (even high profile fighters like Steffen Nielsen) to survive. If they dont find a solution soon 2005 will be the last year with boxing in Danmark.

The Klitschkos wont fight on free tv no more, they will fight on a pay channel called Premiere (that shows alot of boxing already)

EDIT: This is the boxing on the premiere channels the next ten days: http://www.premiere.de/content/Sportpopup_Boxen.jsp
The channel cost £15-16 month and then you of course also get the free channels that shows Universum, Sauerland and SES boxing. Too bad we cant get it here. A german with that package will get 75% of all the big fights, many of them live.
