Klitschkos now lost in court/Williams-fight to cancel

Post by BubiScholz »

The Klitschkos already applied for an austrian license like all other Sauerland boxers. The contract between Sauerland and the two brothers is ready to sign. so future fights in Europe are secured.

Kohl seems to have done well for them so far!!!

what do you think the benefits of signing with Sauerland are??

Does he have more TV deals??

There´s just one champion left for Kohl: Erdei. He will be working like hell to get his hopes (Sturm,Ulrich,Krasniqi) into titlefights in 2005. he works with TV station ZDF.

Sauerland has to renew the contract with "his" TV station ARD because the Klitschkos have another dimension. In his las fights Ottke got 3 million Euros per fight. Vitali will fight for a minimum of 10 millions for the WBC title depending on the opponent. these are new dimensions for german boxing anyway. i think they only can pay it when they show the bouts in the big arenas like Arena auf Schalke where the roof can be closed and 70,000 spectators fit in.

another option would be for Sauerland to sign with RTL, the biggest private station in Europe. they were partners in the Maske/Schulz-era. they had tremendous tv statistics. RTL also works Europe-wide. there could be more money in the game. but it also depends on how much fights they make in Europe?

Main thing is that they don´t leave Europe. :TU:

Close access to the European belt Vitali will have to contend for after his beating at the hands of Danny Williams this December.

I think Vitali will stick to fighting in the US, Wladimir meanwhile may need the backfall of europe if he gets beaten again.

i doubt this will be for all their fights...i cant see the whole K2 thing ending when it's not even a year old. Saurlend will probably co-promote shows with them.

they promote their fights in the US with K2, and in europe with sauerland. it´s not official in which form.

today should be the day where the judge in the Klitschko-Kohl-trial should speak the verdict (pro Klitschko).......but he didn´t. the whole thing starts again on November 11th!!!!

now a win of Kohl will be expected! that means that the Williams-fight in December will be cancelled, Klitschkos lawyer said.

the Fight in October takes place.

whaaaaaaaaaaa? are you saying the williams fight is brought forward to october or is he fighting someone else?

the americans won't be pleased that the world heavyweight champ will be fighting in a country they can't even find on the map.

I couldn't find it on a map (thought perhaps it was near Elbonia, but no such luck), but I found it on my calendar. Now I'm confused and need a hug.
