undercard bouts
Undercard bouts (in a few instances) don't seem to be included. Your viewers point them out. You tend to ignore them. Recent example: two bouts at Mallorca (Majorca). Since no documentation (verification) was included, they were ignored (believe this is your policy). You might want to point out what you need to your viewers as source material. I recently was viewing a website from Japan (Ring Japan) and noticed undercard bouts are missing. Example, 8-8-2000 Tokyo, Japan. Nobuyuki Enomoto won a UD over Masayuki Kubo in 10. Yoshio Hattori beat Rio Saragih in a Majority Decision in 10. Promoter Noguchi Productions. But, to my surprise, I find the Matchmaker for the Hattori-Saragih bout is a contributor to your website (Joe Koizumi). Is it possible, if he is submitting bouts for your daily fight log, to go back through his articles and enter them in your daily fight logs? Maybe Mr. Koizumi could take it upon himself to do so.
Although there are a lot of editors listed on the home page, the majority of the work is done by a small group of fanatics. We have over 100,000 boxers and 300,000 bouts-(average 3 fights per boxer) All editors have their own agendas and in most cases when Michael Buffer announces the decision it is being put in here. We correct mistakes when verified and appreciate having them pointed out to us. BoxRec is a few years old but still in it's infancy, and it does get better every day. Thanks for catching all those glitches.

Blue: The Mallorca (Majorca) bouts were on 5-11-02. Mehmet Erarslan vs Imrich Parlagy and Brian Johansen vs Zdenek Zubko. The Erarslan result was on a Danish website. Don't have it handy. Can find it. if you need it. The original inquiry was sent in by Mip Mip. I noticed he used the European dating system 11-5-02. (Day first, Month second). Might keep this in mind when looking at some older records that were initiated in Europe. Robin: approximately when did the site start entering daily results on a fairly thorough basis? I have some bouts. I don't want to send them in if you are still in the process of entering that boxers record.

I'd say send the results in or e-mail them to one of us and we will enter them. We need all the help we can get, I have been compiling British records for over 10 years and have no where near a complete set although it is getting there. I hope to put a book out with British Boxers Fight records in the near future, but I still intend to add as many as I can to this site as well
