Top 5+ one-punch KO artists - Non-heavyweights

Post by IronKidDynamite »

Please only include fighters who scored one-punch knockouts and give which knockouts you are referring to plus the punch which did it. Only include non-heavyweights and give as many as you know whether you know 5 or 10 or 20. I want to know more to add to my collection.

Some of these only have one that's because I have seen more than one but can't remember names. If you remember them please tell me. Not in a particular order by the way.

1. Bob Foster - Dick Tiger, Quarry (both left hooks)
2. Julian Jackson - Herol Graham (right hand)
3. Arturo Gatti - Rodriguez, Tito Tovar, Dorin, Ruelas (all left hooks)
4. Danny Lopez - Malvarez (right hand)
5. Sugar Ray Robinson - Olsen, Fullmer (both left hooks), Graziano (right hand)
6. Thomas Hearns - James Schuler (right hand)
7. Gerald McClellan - Danny Mitchell(right hand), Jay Bell (left hook to liver)
8. Nigel Benn - Anthony Logan (left hook), Ian Chantler (right hand)
9. Roy Jones Jr. - Art Serwano (right hand to temple), Virgil Hill (right hand to ribcage)

Satterfield weighed 180 for the Charles bout, but he was essentially a light heavyweight who himself scored a number of one-punch knockouts. Another fighter from that era who scored many one-punch jobs was Tommy Gomez.

There are a lot of one punch KOs that Duran has given, I do not remember the names of the fighters, but I saw the highlights of Duran specially in the lightweights, and in one fight against a Nicaraguan, I think, Duran gave him just one shot and the guy went flying. I have seen plenty of Duran's one punch KOs, but the films are in Panamanian TV on archives. I have seen them, I guess his in between bouts (29 of them) from the title contests that he had probably has never been seen in America.
