I have seen plenty of Brits that I have wanted to get beat but not due to their nationality. On the whole I go for the underdog in any fight unless it's elite, elite class like a Mayweather or a Mosley.
Just something about a boxer being flown over to get a beating and he doesn't follow the script the promoter wrote. Prescott for example. A kid living in 2 rooms with family members in the middle of a slum versus a pampered, sheltered celebrity boxer. I loved that result, just a shame that he wasn't given more of a chance to get out of the ghetto. Options huh!

I used to want to see Eubank beaten...couldn't stand him and was rooting against him for near enough all of his middleweight and super-middle reigns. His bum of the month tours p*ssed me off along with his i'm above boxing attitude.
Though by the time he was rematching Collins and taking on Carl Thompson i was definitely rooting for him. He'd come down off his high horse by that time and he'd proven that underneath the image he was a true warrior and one of our best of the modern era.
I also sort of rooted against Naz at times. Never really wanted to see him lose, but i wanted to see him tested and humbled a bit. I remember feeling pleased Medina was giving him a good tussle but then getting a bit worried and being glad when Hamed finally got the result.
By the time he lost to Barrera i was in his camp again....though all the other folk i watched that fight with were rooting strongly for Barrera and were delighted when Hamed lost.
To be perfectly honest i think his 'Allah Wackabah'(spelling..lol)routine turned as many people against him as his general demeanour. People tuned into watch boxing matches, not hear Hamed's own Islamic prayer speeches. I think that p*ssed alot of folk off especially after 9/11.
