 Great stuff. Don't let him watch the Agbeko fight. Darchinyan just wasn't himself there. The Mijares fight is a good one.

Don't forget to watch Napa tapes as well. Play 'spot the weakness'. :TU:

How do you guys see the fight playing out? Seems like Davies is a young strong fighter on an upward swing and Napa is perhaps entering the twilight of his career. Davies suffered 2 stoppage losses but Napa can't quite crack an egg.

Ask Haskins if Napa cant crack an egg, Napa punches harder than his record shows, he just didnt have the instinct to step it up and finish when he had someone in trouble earlier in his career. I go for a Napa stoppage win :box:

Are you serious??? The guy has all of ONE stoppage win in 25 fights  and Haskins went out with an injury. What do you mean by earlier in his career? Who has he stopped lately??? Napa can box a bit but I stand by what I said, HE CAN'T CRACK AN EGG.

Napa hits hard but that KO punch is missing.Haskins was stop because of an arm injury (i think).I would tip Napa to beat Davies on points,Too much experience.

Davies is growing on me all the time but I am a fan of Napa and he may still be too slick. I go for Napa on points, which means Gary will probably win because he keeps proving me wrong.....:)

Good Luck Gary mate, Just don't loose your head against Napa as he's very skilfull and slippery, I know Gary will work till it ain't possible to work anymore, He loves being British Champion and it's gonna take something special to dethrone him. I see this being an amazing fight I really do.

Come on Gary Davies!! :TU:

Officially an injury...but the only injury Haskins had I believe was a broken heart after being out boxed then taking the body shot. I stand by what I say, its not only how hard you punch to produce a stoppage or ko but its instinct and timing to finish the job the job aswell, Napa didn't have that in most he could of won by stoppage if he did...records and satistics can be deceiving. Anyway, winning is what is most important and whether its by stoppage or points Napa will be walking away the winner Im sure, I just wont be surprised like most if he wins inside the distance.

I'm rooting for Gary, but I think it could be frustrating for him (at least initially). Maybe if he works Napas body early it will pay dividends in the final rounds; I don't know. I'm sure he'll give it his all, and it's probably going to be tough for both guys.

I'm not sure who'll win, but I'm expecting a good fight. :TU:

Agreed. If Haskins isn`t having things his own way - he quickly falls apart :-?

Davies will not be able to stop Napa, Davies will not be able to out box Napa, Davies wont show Napa anything that he hasn't come across before. Experiance will tell in this fight. Will Davies be able to pin Napa down? I dont think so. This is no disrespect to Davies because Im sure his time will come but not while Napa is around at this stage. This will be a good learning fight for Davies to come on in the future. The most likely out come will be a Napa points win...But, I will not be surprised as much as most if Napa wins by stoppage as he punches harder than his record shows, he has lacked the finishing instinct I believe, he is very strong physically. If anyone asks Davies after the fight if Napa punched harder than he expected Im sure he will say yes.
