Well, someone asked this question?
I am still in shock that Boxrec rankings class Hopkins as a Light Middle! He was over the Light Middleweight limit for his fight with Oscar. I realise by only a couple of pounds, but that WAS a middleweight title fight.
The rankings are meant to be 100% objective, however I think it is being fairly sugbjective to assume that Hopkins can fight at Light Middle considering that, statistically, he never has.

Yes exaclty, but the worst thing about it was that Hopkins WAS at Middleweight - he was 2 pounds over the Light Middleweight limit. Sure its light for Bernard, but he was still a legitmate (if not very big) Middleweight.REAL_DEAL wrote:yes it should be classed as a middleweight when you defend you titles. say if you defended a WBC middleweight title eveni fi you weighed 140lbs you classed as a middleweight in that fight.
Also, Mike Goodhall announced Eastman at 12 stone for his Elliot match, I don't know if the weight is correct, but that is the Supermiddleweight limit - shouldn't he be ranked at Super Middle.
